… I got really, really bored last night.

Crappy DSi-taken pictures, but good enough I guess. I spent about three hours and fifteen minutes working on this. I’ve never done embroidery in my life ever, and I flew into this completely blind. But for a first time and being completely blind, I think it turned out pretty well.

And for those that don’t know, it’s the “Arrowhead” emblem of ISAF - Independant States Allied Forces - from Ace Combat 04.

That little piece of pointy paper you see in the second picture was my so-called “pattern” for this.

It’s still in the hoop right now, so I have to figure out what I want to do with it, but I feel giddy to have my own little ISAF emblem. XD I really, really want a Mobius Ribbon, but I get the feeling that will take a lot more time than I’m willing to put in right now. Plus I have to figure out a better method to do this than what I did here. But given that I spent a few days working on a plush doll two years ago, I’m sure I’ll be trying to make a Mobius Ribbon eventually.

(When I showed him, my brother asked me “You know, do you ever get the impression that you like Ace Combat a little too much?” Me? Like it too much? Naaahh.)
